PRP and Sexuality

Sexual dysfunctions include sexual problems in women after childbirth, but can also be related to normal or premature aging of the genital area.

PRP or Platelet-Rich Plasma can be used for vaginal restoration in women who suffer from decreased desire and libido, vaginal dryness, pain associated with childbirth or urinary disorders.

The vaginal restorative injection with PRP is simple and takes about 40 minutes without anesthesia. As with all PRP treatments, the patient’s blood is taken and the red blood cells, serum and platelets are separated by centrifugation. The red blood cells are discarded, and the plasma, both rich and poor in platelets, is recovered.
